Cromer Crab Pasta
Cromer Crab Pasta
Whenever I buy a crab, it usually ends up in a sandwich, so this time I thought I’d try cooking with it.
This is such a simple dish and could just as easily (if not better) served with spaghetti or squid ink guitar strings. It takes about 15-20 mins from start to finish.
I sauteed 2 finely chopped shallots, 2 cloves of crushed garlic and half a chopped fresh green chilli. Once these were soft, I added a tin of chopped tomatoes and then mixed in the crab meat. I did mainly use the white meat of the crab, but I think it could be equally good with the brown meat added, too.
Serve with freshly cooked pasta of your choice.
